<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This rate shall apply, regardless of the street's classification (local, <br />collector, arterial, trunk highway); designation (County State-Aid <br />Highway, Municipal State-Aid Street); or jurisdiction (State, County <br />or City). <br /> <br />The commercial/industrial equivalent assessment rate shall be based <br />on seventy percent (70%) of the cost of a bituminous overlay plus all <br />associated overhead costs for a typical commercial street section. This <br />commercial/industrial equivalent assessment rate shall be determined <br />by the City Council, and established by resolution on an annual basis, <br />based upon comparable project data available to the City. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Allev <br />All new alley construction or reconstruction shall be 100% assessed to the <br />abutting properties. The assessment shall be on a per unit basis for the <br />property frontage on the alley. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />5. Appnrtenances <br />Appurtenances such as sidewalks, street lighting, trees or other <br />landscaping features are often encountered during street improvement <br />projects. Appurtenances to new street construction, street reconstruction <br />or bituminous overlay improvements that are either existing or needed by <br />the City shall be included in the cost ofthe street improvement project. <br /> <br />Appurtenances constructed or provided in areas along an improvement <br />project where they do not currently exist, shall be one hundred percent <br />(100%) assessed to the benefiting properties on a per unit basis. The cost <br />of these appurtenances shall be separated from the cost of the street <br />improvement project. All costs of ornamental street lighting and/or any <br />lighting shall be one hundred percent (100%) assessed to the benefiting <br />properties on a per unit basis. <br /> <br />6. MaintenancelRehabilitation Proiects <br />a. Concrete Pavement Restoration <br />Concrete pavement restoration is a maintenance procedure funded by <br />the City. <br /> <br />b. Crack Sealing <br />Crack sealing is a maintenance procedure funded by the city. <br /> <br />c. Bituminous Seal Coating <br />Bituminous seal coating is a maintenance procedure funded by the <br />City. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />d.
