Spencer, Fane, Britt & Brown: The Environmental Law and <br />Regulation Practice <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />To help facilitate the transfer of the TCAAP property and ensure that the city's interests are <br />appropriately represented early in the transfer process, the Council previously directed staff to <br />retain an environmental attorney with experience in dealing with similar projects. Toward that <br />end, staff has done the following: <br /> <br />)> Contacted the National Association for Installation Developers, a professional association <br />for military base reuse professionals, to get a list of possible candidates with the <br />appropriate expertise. <br />)> Contacted or attempted to contact several other units of government that have gone <br />through a similar process. <br />)> Conducted internet research attempting to identify potential firms and candidates. <br /> <br />. In the course of doing the above, it became apparent that the potential options are limited. <br />However, staff feels that a viable option has been identified. Over the last week and a half staff <br />has had the opportunity to discuss the TCAAP project with Mr. Michael Comodeca, an <br />
