<br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 14,2003 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />August 5, 2003 at 9:30 p.m. for no additional charge. She asked if they had <br />received any correspondence from the Post Office regarding the TCAAP property. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski replied she had received a letter today regarding scheduling <br />another meeting with the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce who would be <br />facilitating the meeting with the Post Office and others. Council agreed to another <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem <br />None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant <br />Councilmember Grant stated they had received a letter regarding the New <br />Brighton Police Department and asked Council if they wanted to discuss this <br />tonight, or at a Work Session. Council directed staff to explore the concept <br />further. <br /> <br />. Mr. Parrish replied staff would obtain additional information and present this at <br />an August or September Council Work Session. <br /> <br />Mavor Aplikowski <br />Mayor Aplikowski asked if staff had any further information regarding the Arden <br />Manor situation that was brought forward by a resident at the last meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Moore replied he had not had any positive communication from the manager <br />and he intended to have a meeting with the manager. He noted the manager <br />wanted to deal with this internally. He stated the ownership seemed very offended <br />that the City had gotten involved in this. He noted there was no threat of damage <br />to the City Park. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski replied she believed they should back away from this. <br /> <br />Mr. Moore stated he would like to still attempt to set up a meeting with the <br />management. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish noted it was not just an operations and maintenance issue with the <br />flooding, but it was also a public safety issue and they wanted to meet with the <br />management to make things better in the area. <br />
