<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 14,2003 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />8. ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />A. Administrator Update <br /> <br />Harry Brull, PDI updated the Council on the City Administrator position <br />candidate. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated she would like to put together an offer for Ms. <br />Wolfe. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated she would also like to put together an offer. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski expressed concern regarding the financial offer and Ms. <br />Wolfe's interview process. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated he would like to move forward with Ms. Wolfe, <br />however he was hesitant because Mayor Aplikowski expressed reservations and <br />Councilmember Larson was absent from the meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski recommended postponing this until the next Council Work <br />Session on July 21, 2003 for further discussion when the full Council was present. <br /> <br />7. OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />A. Karth Lake Pumpinl!: Update <br /> <br />Mr. Moore stated the reason for the meeting was because the residents wanted to <br />get together to talk about the Karth Lake water level. He indicated no decisions <br />had been made and that this meeting was an opportunity for the residents to <br />express their thoughts. <br /> <br />Mr. Landwer presented and summarized three options for dealing with the Karth <br />Lake high water issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish stated that a Neighborhood Lake Improvement District could be <br />created and if they wanted to pursue that option, staff would provide the . <br />information to the residents. He indicated they had invited various Governmental <br />agencies to this meeting and a representative of the DNR was present tonight. <br />
