<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />SEPTEMBER 15, 2003 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />4.B Karth Lake: Lake ImprovementDistrict Update <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish said the Public Hearing for the K.arth Lake Improvement District and <br />the bid award for the Karth Lake pumping project will be presented to the Council <br />at its September 29, 2003 meeting, He said this will not be a typical assessment <br />issue, Rather, the issue will be a lake shore parcel specific levy. <br /> <br />4.C 2004 Retreat <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe requested Council direction regarding the 2004 Council Retreat. <br /> <br />The Council agreed to schedule the 2004 Retreat in January and that Marilyn <br />Condon should be the facilitator. <br /> <br />4.>> Neiehborhood Precinct Meetinl!:s: Update <br /> <br />The Council and staff discussed the brochure format and schedule for the <br />upcoming series of Neighborhood Precinct Meetings. <br /> <br />Librarv Board Report <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish said he and Ms. Wolfe attended a meeting with the Ramsey County <br />Library Board Director and the general consensus was that the Arden Hills Branch <br />of the Ramsey County Library closing may be delayed. A significant City <br />contribution would probably be necessary in order to accelerate the project. <br /> <br />City Council Reports <br /> <br />Cmmcilmember Larson: none, <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant said he felt Ramsey County should pursue the acquisition <br />of the rights-of-way relating to the Lexington Avenue reconstruction project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem: none, <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden said the Communications Committee articles were due <br />September 17,2003. <br /> <br />. <br />
