" Sile Data Public and Institutional Institutional CC Civic Center District 35 acres (1,524,600 square feet) Moderate grade to the western part of the property Background The Council approved the Ramsey County Partners Public Works Facility SUP subject to certain conditions at their April 28, 2003 meeting, Overview The applicant is proposing to construct an additional 35,036 square foot addition to the main Ramsey County Partners Public Works Facility and also an 8,855 square foot Sheriff Water Patrol building, The Sheriffs addition would house approximately 60 employees of which no more than 40 would likely be on site at anyone time (leaving for patrols, etc.). The number of employees on the site would increase to a total of approximately 215. With the addition of the Sheriffs Patrol Station to the Ramsey County Public Works Facility the following agencies would be included as project partners: · Ramsey County Public Works Department . Ramsey County Sheriffs Patrol Station · The City of Arden Hills Operations and Maintenance Department, . Mowldsview Public School District's Light Maintenance Division, . Ramsey County Soil and Conservation District (headquarters), · Ramsey County Libraries' Maintenance Fleet (3 spaces). In addition, the applicant is proposing to relocate the Salt/Sand building due to substantial soil correction that would have been necessary in the previously approved location, Site Plan Review The following analysis highlights some of the changes proposed in the Special Use Permit Amendment.
