I-35W Corridor Coalition Housing and Redevelopment Authority Background <br />Information - At the meeting on Monday the Council inquired about the Coalition's <br />HRA proposal/legislation that was introduced last legislative session. This is an opt in <br />program for member communities, so Arden Hills would have had discretion on whether <br />our not to participate in the Coalition HRA and corresponding HRA levy. <br /> <br />6, Subregional Growth Study Implementation Strategies - This memo was presented at the <br />most recent Community Development Committee meeting as a possible step toward <br />implementation components of the Work Plan. The Subregional Growth Study was a <br />multi-year, multi-phase effort aimed at evaluating subregional growth trends over a thirty <br />year period of time. This particular proposal contemplates smart growth audits of zoning <br />codes and comprehensive plans within Coalition communities, <br /> <br />In addition to supplementary information, the Council requested that staff outline the tangible <br />and intangible benefits of participating in the organization.
