APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Minutes of November 20, 2003, were approved as written, ARDEN HILLS POLICE SERVICE Altendorfer reported that he will be meeting with the City of Arden Hills Council Members on January 20, 2004, at 4:45 p,m., to discuss police service through the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. It was the Group's consensus to prepare correspondence and to have representation at this meeting. Watson reported that he met with the Arden Hills' Mayor and Administrator and noted that the mayor is a property owner and has a business relationship with the City of New Brighton; however, she has stated that this will not be a factor in her decision on police service, Watson stated that he advised the mayor to consider the impact to the other contract communities and the consequences that result when a community leaves the Contract Group, He explained that he feels that Ramsey County taxpayers will be left with additional taxes associated with the County's cost (i.e., the overhead costs will get transferred to the County because there is less revenue coming in).
