At the January 26, 2004 City Council <br /> <br />"~~~:~t?~~ra~~~:~~~-::~!~~~~~~fd~~~~::;;~ot~:~~!~~~~~~~~f;i~:~~~i\Y e <br /> <br />Development Director. While draft job descriptions were available at that time, a few final <br />details needed to be comple\e,d. They are now prepared for your review and approval. <br />. . , <br /> <br />:DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The proposed job description (or the position of Assistant City Administrator (ACA) <br />encompasses a number and variety of duties, which can be summarized in the following <br />categories: <br /> <br />. Deputy City Clerk functions (records management, agenda preparation, elections) <br />. Human Resources <br />. Management and S\l.Peryi~()n of Support Services <br />· Communications/C[lbh:.;rV <br />. InformationTeehnology;;. <br />. Assistant Administrator, "second-in-charge" <br /> <br />Of these duties, the first three :were a part of the existing job description for the position of <br />Deputy City Clerk/Human Resources Director. The last three were part of the existing job <br />description for the position of Community Development Director/Assistant City Administrator. <br />With this change, it is proposed that the position be placed in the 2004 Compensation Plan in the <br />pay grade that currently consists of the Community Development Director position. e <br />
