Since several duties and <br />responsibilities have been removed from the job description, the position is recommended for a <br />slightly lower pay grade than in the past (now recommended to be in the same pay grade as the <br />Finance Director position.) <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Approve the job descriptions for the positions of Assistant City Administrator and Community <br />Development Director, effective February 9,2004. The position of Assistant City Administrator <br />will be placed into the 2004 Compensation Plan at the same pay range as the existing <br />Community Development Dirl"ctor position.
