Concrete pilasters at ends of bridge <br /> <br />Sidewalk/Trail <br />All options would include the construction of sidewalk/trail along the southern boulevard of <br />County Road E. The sidewalk/trail would be constructed within existing MnDOT and County <br />ROW from the signal east of the bridge to Old Highway 10. There are 7 single family homes <br />along the proposed alignment which would be impacted by the construction of a sidewalk <br />adjacent to the street. We have not contacted any of these residents to date to obtain feedback . <br />regarding the proposed project. The estimated construction cost for the sidewalk/trail <br />improvements is approximately $55,000. Therefore the project construction costs are estimated <br />to range from $115,000 to $235,000 (not including bridge enhancements). The project could be <br />funded with the city's State Aid account which currently has a balance of approximately <br />$500,000. <br /> <br />Worksession <br />Mr. Landwer will provide a presentation of the options including some renderings of the various <br />bridge options for Council's consideration. Depending upon direction received from the council, <br />the City Engineer will finalize the feasibility report for the project with the recommended <br />improvements. We anticipate the feasibility report to be presented at a Council meeting in <br />March. <br /> <br />. <br />
