Since this issue has received a fair amount of press coverage, we have receive many calls <br />from the public about it, and all who called after the timeline was established were <br />informed of the public input item on the February 23 agenda <br /> <br />In the notiee that was sent out, it was indicated that if a member of the public could not be <br />present at the meeting, they should feel free to contact the Mayor or City Council, send a letter, <br />or e-mail the City Administrator, Mayor and/or Council. I have included with the agenda item a <br />copy of all the e-mails and letters I have received thus far. Any received once this agenda has <br />been prepared will be provided at the meeting on February 23. <br /> <br />Both the Ramsey County Sheriff and New Brighton Public Safety Director have been invited to <br />give a short, five minute presentation to initiate the public input discussion. Some topics they <br />have been asked to focus on include: <br />. Coverage (number of cars patrolling the city/available) <br />. Neighborhood policing <br />. Use of volunteers <br />. Approach taken with speeding and parking issues in neighborhoods <br />.
