<br />. Human Rights Options: <br /> <br />I. Create an Arden Hills Human Rights Commission. <br />2. Conduct education and communications activities via the Communications <br />Committee. <br />3. Join with the City of Shore view Human Rights Commission. <br />4. Create a Human Rights Task Force or a joint task force of some kind with <br />other cities in the school district. <br />5. Create a Youth COlillcil. <br /> <br />Other efforts: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />6. Appoint a Council liaison to any school district committees, task forces, <br />etc. created to address human rights issues. <br />7. Approve a resolution declaring no tolerance for racial discrimination. <br />8. Conduct some kind of community meeting and/or include a diversity <br />element to the Celebrate Arden Hills festival. (Perhaps officially <br />designate the day of the festival as a "Day of _" - some kind of human <br />rights or tolerance or diversity theme.) <br />9. Ask the various cities in the school district to get their Recreation <br />Departments together to create some programs for kids and/or adults that <br />promote cultural diversity and tolerance. <br />10.
