<br />, <br /> <br />~ <br />/]'\~ HILLS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION PROGRAM <br /> <br />The City Council of Arden Hills encourages and supports recognizing employees who <br />make significant contributions to the City, At its September 1994 meeting, the City <br />Council adopted Resolution No, 94-47, establishing an Employee Recognition <br />Committee (ERC). <br /> <br />It shall be the policy of the City to recognize all employees in the following manner: <br /> <br />Years of Service <br /> <br />. Employees shall receive a gift certificate from a vendor of their choice in the <br />amount of $10 on the date of their flIst anniversary of service to the City, After <br />the first year of service, employees will be recognized every five (5) years by <br />receiving a gift certificate from the vendor of their choice in the amount equal to <br />$10 for each year of service, Employees will also receive a letter from the City <br />Administrator and their Department Director or Supervisor acknowledging their <br />years of service, A copy of this letter shall be inserted into the City Council non- <br />agenda packet and the employee's persOllllel file, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Exceptional Performance <br /> <br />. Commllllication received from residents or other individuals recognizing an <br />employee for their superior performance or service shall be copied to the City <br />Council in the non-agenda packet, Employee Newsletter, and the employee's <br />personnel file, " "" '," <br /> <br />Money or Time Saving Idea <br /> <br />Any employee may submit to. the Employee Recognition Committee (ERe) an <br />idea/conceptlprocess/solution that was implemented within the City which resulted in <br />significant cost savings or greatly improved efficiency to the City, Annlicatiol1s will be <br />iudged based on the following eljgibiltt)'_staDdanls and criteria: <br /> <br />. <br />
