<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION PROGRAM <br /> <br />The City Council of Arden Hills encourages and supports recognizing employees who <br />make significant contributions to the City. At its September 1994 meeting, the City <br />Council adopted Resolution No. 94-47, establishing an Employee Recognition <br />Committee (ERC). <br /> <br />It shall be the policy of the City to recognize all employees in the following manner: <br /> <br />Years of Service <br /> <br />. Beginning the fifth year of employment, employees will be recognized every five <br />(5) years by receiving a gift certificate from the vendor of their choice in the <br />amount equal to $10 for each year of service. Gift certificates will be service free. <br />Employees will also receive a letter from the City Administrator and their <br />Department Director or Supervisor acknowledging their years of service. A copy <br />of this letter shall be insertcd into the City Council non-agenda packet and the <br />employee's pcrsonnel file. <br /> <br />Exceptional Performance <br /> <br />. Communication received from residents or other individuals recognlzmg an <br />employee for their superior performance or service shall be copied to thc City <br />Council in the non-agenda packet, Employee Newsletter, and the employee's <br />personnel file. <br /> <br />Money or Time Saving Idea <br /> <br />Any cmployee may submit to the Employee Recognition Committee (ERe) an <br />idcalconcept/process/solution that was implcmented within the City which resulted in <br />significant cost savings or greatly improved efficiency to the City. Applications will be <br />judged based on the following eligibility standards and criteria: <br />
