<br />. <br /> <br />Responsible for preparation, maintenance, filing, and publication of official records, <br />documents, resolutions, ordinances, and policy and procedures manuals. <br /> <br />Administers records retention and management in compliance with state retention and <br />data privacy requirements. <br /> <br />Attends City Council and other meetings, as required. <br /> <br />Coordinates City licensing in accordance with code and state statutes, including records <br />maintenance, application processing, monitoring and revising fee schedule, and <br />administers charitable gambling procedure. <br /> <br />Responsible authority for Data Practices Policy. <br /> <br />Administers, plans, prepares, and conducts local, state, and national elections in <br />accordance with statutory requirements. <br /> <br />Manages animal control. <br /> <br />Supervises Office Support Specialists and Customer Service Representative I. <br /> <br />Performs other duties as apparent or assigned. <br />. Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible experience <br />in local government or an equivalent combination of education or experience. <br /> <br />Prefferred qualifications include 2 years supervisory experience and a masters degree <br />in a related field <br /> <br />SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILlTES <br /> <br />Directly supervises the positions of the Office Support Specialists and Customer Service <br />Representative I. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's <br />policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing <br />work; evaluating performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. <br />Responsibilities also include the ability to effectiveiy recommend recruiting and hiring; <br />
