The first method is by a petition of thc a cted property owncrs. The petition <br />must be signed by not less than thirty-five percent ( Yo) of the owners of the frontage of the <br />rcal property abutting the proposed improvement uld be noted that the City Council <br />rctains the right to rcvicw the merits of each oject 0 provcmenl and establishes the <br />priority as it deems proper. The City will assess fifty <br />percent (50%) of the total charges, as assessment, to the residents for existing roadways. <br />Gencrally, no assessments are made to the residents for sanitary sewer, water, and storm <br />watcr that are part of the PMP. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2004 Asscssmcnt Policy Manual - Page 2 <br />
