<br />City of Arden Hills <br />2005 Assessment Policy <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Appurtenances <br /> <br />Appurtenances such as sidewalks, street lighting, trees or olher <br />landscaping features are of1en encountered during street improvement <br />projecls. Appurtenances to new street cons1ruclion, street reconslruclion <br />or bituminous overlay improvements thai are ei1her exisling or needed by <br />the City shall be included in the cost of the street improvemenl project. <br /> <br />Appurtenances constructed or provided in areas along an improvement <br />project where 1hey do not cunently exist, shall be one hundred percent <br />(100%) assessed to the benefiling properties on a per unit basis. The cost <br />of these appurtenances shall he separated from Ihe cosl of the street <br />improvcmen1 project. All cos1s of ornamcntal street lighting and/or any <br />lighling shall be one hundrcd percen1 (100%) assesscd to the benefiling <br />properties on a per unit basis. <br /> <br />Maintenance/Rehabilitation Proiects <br /> <br />a. Concrete Pavement Rcstoration <br />Concrete pavement res1oration is a maintenance procedure funded by <br />1heCity. <br /> <br />b. Crack Sealing <br />Crack sealing is a maintenance procedure funded by the city. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />c. Bituminous Seal Coating <br />Biluminous seal coating is a maintenance procedure funded by Ihe <br />City. <br /> <br />d. Bituminous Surface Patching <br />Bituminous surfacing patching is a maintenance procedure funded by <br />the City. <br /> <br />A. Definitions & General Provisions <br /> <br />1.
