<br />3. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Lateral Rates <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The building service assessments described below will be deducted from the <br />total improvement cost to be assessed. The amount remaining after said <br />deductions will be assessed by the following method. The resulting <br />assessment will be known as a lateral benefit assessment. <br /> <br />Each assessable unit shall be assessed as follows: <br /> <br />. R-l and R-2 residential lots at 100% of the total project cost <br />. All other land uses at 100% of the total projeet cost <br /> <br />4, Sanitary Sewer Building Service <br /> <br />The assessment rate for each size of building service; four inch (4"), six ineh <br />(6"), or eight inch (8") shall be determined by adding all the costs associated <br />with each size of service and dividing by the total number of services <br />constructed. Each unit will be assessed at the determined rate for each size <br />and number of services installed. This will be known as the building serviee <br />asscssment. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water Distribution System <br /> <br />A. Definitions and General Provisions <br /> <br />1. Water Source and Treatment Facilities <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills purchases water from the City of Roseville to supply <br />the water distribution system. Water enters the system at three (3) separate <br />meter stations. <br /> <br />The water purchased from Roscville is treated, and Arden Hill does not add <br />any water treatment to thc distribution system. <br /> <br />2. Water Storage Facilities <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills has a total water storage capacity of 1.5 million <br />gallons comprised by two (2) elevated storage tanks. Onc tank has a capacity <br />of 1.0 million gallons and is located south ofI-694 along Red Fox Road. The <br />other storage tank has a capacity of 0.5 million gallons and is located north of <br />1-694 along Fernwood Avenue. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2004 Assessment Policy - Page 16 <br />
