However, some time ago the Council indicated a desire to <br />begin neighborhood meetings for the Ridgewood/Siems Court area. The basis for this discussion <br />was that the neighborhood will be a very complex project and may require several subsequent <br />meetings. We wanted to allow enough time for the neighborhood process to take place, Given <br />that the project has been proposed for 2006, and has been contemplated in that year for some <br />time, it seemed that the neighborhood meetings should get underway soon, However, some <br />concern has been voiced that perhaps we should wait until the utility rate study is complete and <br />we can look more closely at the entire financial picture for the ClP, The implication being that <br />perhaps we will not be proceeding with the RidgewoodlSiems Court project in 2006, At this <br />time, the staff would like direction as to whether the City Council would like us to proceed with <br />neighborhood meetings or to hold off until a future date, <br /> <br />DIRECTION REQUESTED <br /> <br />1. Is there a consensus of comfort for the proposed 2005 ClP? <br />2.
