Weare developing a series of options for the bridge crossing for council's consideration and will discuss them in greater detail at the work session, Below is a general summary of the options we are developing: Option A: . Replace existing bridge north sidewalk and guardrail with F-type rail (l' -8" wide vs. 3' -8") . Shift roadway centerline 3' to the north · Narrow traffic lanes to 14' (currently 15') . Construct 6' -6" foot walk along the south side of bridge . Estimated bridge construction cost: $60,000 Option B: . Replace existing bridge north sidewalk and guardrail with F-type rail (1' -8" wide vs. 3' .-8") . Shift roadway centerline 3' to the north . Narrow traffic lanes to l4 ' (currently 15 ') . Construct 7' -6" foot walk along south side of bridge with cantilever structure improvements to bridge beams . Estimated bridge construction cost: $80,000
