<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />FEBRUARY 17, 2004 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Mr, Parrish indicated that he would incorporate the Council's feedback and bring this <br />back for Council considera1ion and/or approval in March, <br /> <br />2.D Street Sign Discussion <br /> <br />Mr, Moore and City Engineer Nick Landwer provided an update on the street sign <br />project and outlined the various options available to the Council, including the different <br />proposed sign types, various options, and the estimated costs which vary between <br />$55,000 and $70,000. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to evaluate other community signs prior to making <br />any decisions. It was also the consensus of the Council to not include street numbers. <br />Ultimately the final decision would be clarified at the Monday, Febrnary 23, regular City <br />Council meeting, <br /> <br />~.11!:0Co_!iRoad~~rail:~&'d~ <br /> <br /> <br />2.F Council Pav <br /> <br />Mr, Siddiqui outlined that the Council has been underpaid for the past two years by <br />approximately $20 per year, It was the consensus of the Council to reconcile the <br />difference on a going forward basis. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS: <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden indicated that the North Heights neighborhood meeting would <br />take place Wednesday evening and requested that, when appropriate, a resolution <br />outlining the City's position on a consolidated dispatch center be brought forth. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson indicated that he would be a member of a school board task <br />force that was evaluating the school board operations and the first meeting for this group <br />was scheduled for next week. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant had no comments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem indicated that Arden Hills Notes articles are due Wednesday, <br />February 18, She also noted she will be attending a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the <br />
