Seasonal Staffing: The Recreation Program Supervisor would be in charge of staffiug all evening <br />meetings with seasonal recreation employees. <br /> <br />COST: <br />. $9.00 per hour (average) x 1.11 (Bcnefits) ~ 9.99 per hour <br />. We figure it would be a 2 hour minimum ~ [$19.98 for 2 hr~ <br /> <br />PRO'S: <br />. The cost of this option is significantly less than the others. <br />. A seasonal building supervisor job could be appealing to high school or <br />college students. <br /> <br />CON'S: <br />. If meetings are not consistently scheduled each week, it may be difficult <br />to staff without guaranteeing a certain aIDOlmt of hours each week <br />. If a seasonal staff member is not found, it would be the Recreation Program Supervisor's <br />responsibility to cover the shift. <br /> <br />2. Operations and Maintenance: The Operations and Maintenance on~call person would be in charge of <br />supervising all evening meetings. <br /> <br />COST: <br />. $20.00 per hour (average) x 1.20 (Benefits) ~ $24.00 per hour <br />. 0 & M would be paid overtime ~ $24.00 x 1.5 ~ $36.00 per hour <br />. 0 & M on call staff are paid a min. of two hours on call ~ $36.00 x 2 ~ ~72.00 for 2 hr~ <br /> <br />PRO'S: <br />. Staff is familiar with the building and closing procedures. <br /> <br />CON'S: <br /> <br />. Cost is significantly higher than other options. <br />. Staffing availability is effected by emergency snow plowing, sewer/water main breaks, <br />etc... <br />. Places a greater burden on the Operations and Maintenance staff. <br /> <br />3. Full Time Staff: We would ask for volunteers from the full time staff to stay late and staff all <br />scheduled meetings. Staff would receive comp/f1ex time or they would simply adjust their hours in <br />order to supervise meeting activities and close the building for the night. <br /> <br />COST: <br />. There is no set fee assocIated with this option. <br /> <br />PRO'S: <br />. Minimal Costs. <br />. Staff are all familiar with the building and closing procedures. <br /> <br />CON'S: <br />. Employee may work an unusual shift and not be available during regular business hours. <br />. It may be difficult to find an employee who is willing to volunteer. <br />. This option places a greater burden on full time employees. <br />
