Monument signage shall be designed to minimize direct glare to adjacent <br />roadways or adjacent uses. The monument signage shall be of a material <br />compatible with the buildings comprising the park. <br /> <br />J. Temporary leasing signs and marketing signs will be allowed. <br /> <br />LIGHTING <br /> <br />I. All exterior lighting in the Chesapeake Gateway Center PUD shall be downcast <br />cutoff type fixtures. The styles and types are to be detennined by the project <br />designers and approved by the Arden Hills City Council. No light Source may be <br />more than twenty-five (25) feet above the ground. The fixture material selection <br />shall be consistent with the building materials. <br /> <br />2. The applicant shall provide light standard and fixture details, and a photometric <br />lighting diagram prepared by a qualified professional showing light levels, in foot- <br />candles, from all exterior artificial lighting for all points on and within ten (10) feet <br />of the site. <br /> <br />3. Lighting levels in exterior parking areas shall average one half (1/2) foot candle, <br />with a minimum of one tenth (1/10) foot-candle in all locations. <br /> <br />4. Lighting levels in interior parking areas shall average two (2) foot-candles, with a <br />minimum of one half (1/2) foot-candle in all locations. <br /> <br />5. Lighting levels shall not exceed one half (1/2) foot-candle at the abutting property <br />line or right-of-way line, and no direct glare from lighting on site shall extend onto <br />the public street, public open space orneighboring properties. <br /> <br />6. Lighting shall be provided at the entrances to the buildings to provide identity and <br />pedestrian accent. Additional accent building and signage lighting will be allowed. <br /> <br />TRASH HANDLING <br /> <br />All trash, recyclable materials, and equipment for handling them, including compactors, <br />shall be totally screened from eye level view from public streets and adjacent properties, <br />whether in the front, side or rear, either by being stored within the principal Structure, <br />totally screened from view by the principal building, or stored within an accessory <br />Structure. Trash handling areas, if provided, shall be in enclosed areas built of the same <br />materials and colors as the principal building, with gates comprised of metal.
