<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />... <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: Work Session #1 <br /> <br />April 13, 2005 <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator ~~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Cable Commission Update <br /> <br />It has been over a year since Arden Hills' representative, Craig Wilson, has been at a work <br />session to provide an update about eable commission activities, (Although, he did attend the <br />committee summit held late last year and provided some updates at that time,) The commission <br />has undertaken a strategic planning process, which both Mr. Wilson and attended. He will be <br />able to provide an update about the strategic planning, as well as other commission activities, <br />This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions of him. <br /> <br />At last month's work session, I mentioned the coneept of WEB streaming. Mr. Wilson had <br />spoken with me about this at the retreat. I have since learned that the cost for this service will be <br />$163.69 per month, billed quarterly, Ifwe desire to archive the meeting on DVD rams for future <br />referenee, we would pay the cost for the DVD rams (eurrent pricing $25-30 for about 4 hours of <br />recording.) We can send in the authorization to begin this serviee at any time. <br /> <br />I would also like to note that Finance Director Siddiqui and I are working with producer Ken <br />Gammel on some technology improvements for the Council Chambers.
