Final plans and specifications will be submitted to City staff for review and comment URS will <br />conduct a formal assessment hearing for the project near the completion of the final design phase. <br /> <br />Bidding Phase <br />URS will provide bidding phase services in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement. URS <br />will submit advertiscments for bidding, produce bidding documents, answer contractor questions, issue <br />addendums and conduct the bid opening. URS will check bids and provide a detailed bid tabulation and <br />recommendation of award to City Council. <br /> <br />Construction Phase <br />URS will provide construction services in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement. The <br />services will include contract administration, field inspections and construction staking. Construction <br />testing will be coordinated by URS but will be provided by others and will be billed directly to the City <br />by the firm performing the work. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />In addition to the Basic Services detailed above, IJRS will provide additional services for field survey <br />necessary for the project. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Field Survey <br />Field surveying will be compJeted for the project during both the Preliminary and Final Design Phases of <br />the project. 1t is anticipated that the Survey will be a construction survey to include right of way, existing <br />utilities and all topographic points which, will be impacted by this project. All survey information will be <br />based upon the Ramsey County Coordinate System in order to allow easy correlation with City GIS <br />mapping information, <br /> <br />ESTIMATED COSTS <br />We propose that the basic services identified above be completed on a percentage of construction cost <br />basis consistent with the terms of our Professional Services Agreement. The budgeted construction costs <br />for the project include approximately $1,050,000.00 of roadway improvements, $240,000.00 in storm <br />drainage improvements and $80,000.00 in waterrnain improvements and $30,000 in sanitary sewer <br />improvements. The current estimate of the total construction costs for the project is approximately <br />$1,400,000.00. The total budgeted project cost (including engineering and construction <br />inspection/administration) in the CIP is 1,670,000.
