<br />Memo <br />LED Traffic Lights <br />2 <br /> <br />No specific funds are budgeted for this purpose. The purchase of the LED lamps will require a <br />budget amendment in the amount of $5,400. From a financial perspective, as well as from an <br />environmental perspective, this would appear to be a prudent choice to replace the lamps. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br />Staff recommends that the Council consider replacing the existing traffic signal lamps with the <br />energy efficient LED lamps at a total cost of $1 0,400 before rebates.
