Detailed Services <br /> <br />Strategic Planning <br />FCI will provide The City of Arden Hills with benefit and financial consulting, <br />recommendations and support that includes the following responsibilities: <br /> <br />(a,) Examine current employee benefit plans. <br /> <br />(h,) Review insurance plan design and claims experience. <br /> <br />(e) Analyze competitive plan position considering plan design, employee choice, and <br />both employer and employee costs, <br /> <br />(d.) Review and recommend plan design and financial fimding alternatives. <br /> <br />(e,) Assist in preparation of budget projections. <br /> <br />(f.) Establish the City of Arden Hills with a renewal strategy encompassing all the <br />components of a cost effective, high quality benefit plan for the upcoming year. <br /> <br />(g,) Recommend relationships with FCI alliances to help achieve organizational goals and <br />objectives (property and casualty insurance, legal, HR generalists, accounting <br />professionals, ete) <br /> <br />Renewal Service <br />FCl will provide full vendor management responsibilities including: <br /> <br />(a,) Vendor negotiation for renewals. <br /> <br />(b.) Managing the proposal process to ensure competitive programs and pricing. <br /> <br />(e) Securing rate guarantees and caps if available, <br /> <br />(d,) Securing attractive fmancial alternatives. <br /> <br />(e,) Vendor non-standard problem resolution, including assistance with irreconcilable <br />claims and billing issues between the City of Arden Hills and the vendors, <br /> <br />(f.) Recommend plan design alternatives to best manage costs and offer a competitive <br />benefits package for employees. <br /> <br />(g,) Educate the employees of the City of Arden Hills on their new benefit plans and <br />costs as well as market ttends and wbat to prepare for in the future as it relates to <br />benefits. <br /> <br />Human Resources Support Services <br />FCI has available full technical services for dle benefits plan, Much of the technical work will <br />be inherent in dle development of the strategic plan mentioned above.
