<br />This document is to outline Financial Concepts, lnc. (FCI) setvices related to City of Arden Hills's <br />employee benefit plans, including health and dental, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />At the starting point of the City of Arden Hills and FCrs relationship, FCI will work with your <br />organization to perform an audit of your current benefit programs. FCI will analyze the current benefits <br />and meet with the appropriate leadership of your organization to understand the respective objectives <br />and priorities. Based on these objectives and priorities, FCI will develop a benefits blueprint to meet the <br />unique needs of your organization, The blueprint will be reviewed and refined as needed to ensure that <br />the strategic benefit plan meets organizational needs. The resulting strategic plan will setve as the road <br />map to design the ongoing management and administration of the benefit programs. FCI utilizes a <br />Benefits Management Cycle approach of ensuring diligent plan management and completion of <br />administrative responsibilities, <br /> <br />L Strategic Plan <br /> <br />FCI will provide City of Arden Hills with financial consulting and support including the <br />following responsibilities: <br /> <br />A. Examine current employee benefit plans, <br /> <br />B. Review insurance plan design and claims experience, (if obtainable). <br /> <br />C. Analyze competitive plan position considering plan design, employee choice, and both <br />employer and employee costs. <br /> <br />D, <br /> <br />Review and recommend plan design and financial funding alternatives. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />E. Assist in preparation of budget projections. <br /> <br />F. Establish with City of Arden Hills a renewal strategy encompassing all the components <br />of a cost effective, high quality benefit plan for the upcoming year, <br /> <br />II. Compliance <br /> <br />FCI has available full technical setvices for the benefits plan, Much of the technical work will be <br />inherent in the development of the strategic plan mentioned above. The strategic plan will <br />include the important technical considerations for your organization including: <br /> <br />A. Assist Human Resources staff on compliance related issues through training seminars, <br />newsletters and correspondence. <br /> <br />B. Appraisal of industry, legislative, and regulatory developments and consultative <br />recommendations as it relates to employee benefits. <br /> <br />C. Provide consultation on employee relation issues as needed, <br /> <br />D. Full access to FCrs online human resources library of explanations and analysis oflaws, <br />trends and developments in benefits and related areas. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br />
