Suggcstions which arc deemcd by the ERC to bc frivolous, impractical, retaliatory or inconscqucntial in charactcr. . Thc determination ofthc Employce Recognition Committee can not bc grieved. 4. Joint Suggcstions. Suggestions may be submittcd by a group of cmployccs. Should any onc mcmbcr of the group bc incligiblc for thc award, hc or shc will not sharc in such award. A joint suggcstion submittcd by two or morc cmployccs must bear the names of all individuals concerned on thc suggcstion fonn. . In evaluating money, safcty, or timc saving idcas, thc ERC will adherc to the following proccss: . Fcedback will be solicitcd from the employcc's Dcpartmcnt Dircctor to lcarn more about thc magnitude of thc improvcmcnt or cost savings to thc City. . Bascd on fccdback from thc Department Director and a rcvicw of all information, thc ERC may makc a rccommcndation to thc City Administrator to bring forth thc rccommcndation to thc City Council for its formal approval. . The City Administrator will notify thc employec's Department Dircctor of the City Council's approval or dcnial. . If approval is received, the cmploycc will rcccivc a $100.00 gift certificate from a vcndor of the cmployce's choice. . Thc emp]oycc's Dcpartment Director shall prcscnt thc award to thc cmployec. All moncy and time saving idcas approvcd for an award shall bccomc the propcrty of the City of Arden Hills. .
