Thc sclcction committcc shall bc comprised of members of the <br />Employee Rccognition Committcc and a City Council rcprcsentative. The <br />committcc shall use thc supporting rationale, submittcd with thc nomination in thc <br />selcction proccss. Fcedback from thc cmploycc's supcrvisor will also bc <br />solicited. Information submitted with thc nomination will be subjcct to <br />vcrification. The nomince must be in good standing with thc City in ordcr to be <br />considercd for this recognition. Final sclcction of an Employce of thc Year will <br />bc madc by the Employcc Rccognition Committee. The committce rescrves thc <br />right to not designate an Employcc ofthc Ycar ifthcy dcem thc nominations and <br />supporting rationale received warrants no such selcction. <br /> <br />Thc namc of the pcrson selccted as thc Employce of the Year will bc announccd <br />by the Mayor at thc last City Council meeting of the ycar. An articlc will appcar <br />in thc employcc and city ncwslettcr (along with a photograph) rccognizing thc <br />cmployec and his/hcr accomplishments. The employcc will also rcceivc a plaquc <br />recognizing the accomplishmcnt. This plaque will bc displaycd at City Hall for <br />onc ycar in recognition of the employcc's accomplishmcnt and then givcn to thc <br />cmploycc. <br /> <br />Employee of the Year Committce <br /> <br />. The Employcc of thc Year Committce will meet rcgularly in Octobcr of each ycar <br />to rcview the nominccs and rccommcnd a candidatc for this award. <br />
