However, these haulers are willing to provide estimates
which will be as close as possible to exact data. This should satisfy this goal.
16. The waste hauler(s) shaff supporl the City's efforls to educate residents and
students on solid waste and recycling issues.

Again, the NSWMA member haulers are eager to support and work with the City's
efforts to educate residents and students on solid waste and recycling issues. These
haulers feel that they have a wealth of knowledge and experience which can be of great
assistance to the City and its residents. They view this as an opportunity for
collaboration and education.

The foregoing plan is put forth by NSWMA and its member haulers in an effort to show
their good faith and desire to work with the Commission and the City Council to meet
the City's solid waste goals and the expressed desire of the citizens and the haulers to
continue to provide waste hauling services on a competitive and individualized basis.
We hope that this proposal is adopted by the Commission and the City Council so that
superior waste hauling services can be provided to the residents of the City of Falcon
Heights without the imposition of organized collection and the loss of customer choice
and the competitive marketplace.

~~)

Douglas M.
