It is estimated that the project construction cost <br />will bc approximately 5345,000.00. An outline of our estimated fees and direct expenses for the project are <br />detailed below: <br /> <br />Estimated Fees for Basic Services <br />Percentage Multiplier to be used for Basic Services based upon estimated construction cost of5305,000.00 and <br />curve included on Exhibit D of thc Profcssional Services Agreement: 7.6%. Since we are not required to prepare a <br />feasibility report for this project our fees for design and bidding services arc 65% of the chart percentage => <br />4.94%. <br /> <br />Total fec for design and bidding services: 4.94% of Construction Cost: $15,070.00 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Construction Services <br />10.0% of Construction Cost per the Professional Services Agreement 530,500.00. We propose to provide <br />complete construction services for 7.5% due to the lowcr relative administrationlinspection effort per dollar <br />cost for plantings. Construction services include plant inspections in 2007 and 2008 with direction to <br />contractor on replacement of plant materials throughout warranty period. Total fee for construction services <br />is therefore 7.5% ofJ05,000 =>$22,875.00. <br /> <br />Direct Expenses <br />Direct expenses for the project include items such as mileage, parking, photography, printing and delivery <br />services. Construction materials testing services performcd by AET are also included as a part of the <br />anticipated expense budget. URS will bill all expenses incurred on the project directly to the City with no <br />URS markup. Expenses are anticipated to include construction materials testing ($250), printing and <br />distribution of plans ($1,000), courier and miscellaneous costs ($50) and mileage ($200).
