<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - February 13, 2006 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />change the park dedication fee, so the wording of the recommendation had to be six percent <br />However, there had been a discussion at the Planning Commission meeting regarding Council . <br />being able to make adjustments to the park dedication fee. <br /> <br />Mayor Apliko\vski agreed with Councilmember Grant to collcct park dedication on only the two <br />new lots. <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Holden stated she also agreed with Councilmember Grant. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve Planning Case 06-001, Minor Subdivision, 4038 <br />Valentine Court, subject to the six conditions as noted in staffs February <br />6, 2006 report amending condition 4 to set the park dedication fee at <br />$7,594.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Lehnhoff asked if Council wanted the payment made at filing, or payment made in <br />installments. Mayor ApIikowski asked if the applicants had stated this was a hardship issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Lehnhoff responded they had not Mayor Aplikowski stated in that case the payment <br />should be made at filing. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Planninl! Case #06-002: Garv Findell, 1401 Skiles Lane - Minor Subdivision and <br />Variance <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Lehnhoff stated applicant had rcqucstcd this itcm be postponed to the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Pellegrin seconded a <br />motion to Table Planning Case 06-002 to the February 27, 2006 Council <br />meeting. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />E. Planninl! Case #06-003: Celestica, 4300 Round Lake Road - SUP Amendment <br /> <br />Mr. Lehnhoff stated the applicant proposes to install two exterior make-up air handling <br />mechanical units at thc loading dock on the southwestern comer of the structure. If this <br />application is approved, the western air handler is proposed to be installed this spring. The <br />second air handler has an undetermined installation date. <br /> <br />Each air handler will extend approximately 60 fcct from the building and be approximately 12 <br />feet wide. Thc air handlers will not exceed the height of the proposed 15 foot j(mce used for <br />screening. The fenced area will include approximately 1300 feet (70 feet from the building and <br />60 feet wide). Thc fence is proposed to have privacy slats that match the adjacent structure and <br />other nearby fencing. Installation of the air handler will result in the loss of eight parking spaces. <br /> <br />. <br />
