This is why we did not includc <br />that p0l1ion of the project in the resolution or application for funding. However, it would <br />be eligiblc for MSA funding, which was the original funding plan in thc CIP. <br />. The MnDOT official quoted in the newspaper was indicating his view that thc bridge <br />project would score higher if it connects to a trail systcm (existing or futurc). Greg <br />Brown followed up on this with MnDOT, and his report indicates his findings. <br />Essentially, it is possible that the projcct could score higher if it connects to a trail <br />systcm, but not a givcn.
