. - - ~ ~HILLS CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 06-47 RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE 2006 PMP- RIDGEWOOD NEIGBORHOOD IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, thc Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement ofthc City of Arden Hills 2006 Pavement Management Program improvement of Siems Court bctween Lake JohaIma Boulevard and thc cuI de sac of Siems Court, Arden Place betwccn Siems Court and Snelling Avcnue, Ridgewood Road between Lake Johanna Boulevard and Arden Placc, Skiles Lane between Arden Place and Snelling A venue, for the reconstruction of the street by the installation of asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewcr, utility repair, landscaping and necessary appurtenances, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council that: l. Such proposed assessmcnt roll, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hcrcof, is hcreby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be bcncfited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the asscssment lcvicd against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 10 ycars, unless prepaid, the first of the installments to be payable with general taxes levied in 2006, collectible with such taxes during the year of 2007, and shall bear interest at the rate of _ percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment rcsolution. To thc first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from thc date of this resolution until Deccmber 31,2006. To each subsequcnt installment when due shall be added interest for one ycar on all unpaid installments. 3. lf the adopted assessment differs from the proposed assessment as to any particular lot, piece, or parcel of laIld, thc City Administrator shall mail to the owner a notice stating the amount of the adopted assessment. The administrator must also notify affect cd owners of any changes adopted by the Council in interest rates or prepayment requircments from those containcd in the notice of the proposed assessment. 4.
