If the Council is convinced that the Beach Club should be assessed 12 units of the cost for the

PMP. we feel that the City is best equipped to collect the additional assessment from the

members.

.

We are most interested in supporting the PMP as outlined in the feasibility plan ~ we believe it is

desperately needed and that it holds important promise for the quality of Lake Johanna. In the

context of that plan. we have been enthusiastic about the City's use of our wetland property to

manage storm water runoff, and about the prospect of the City excavating under our access road

to the island for drainage from the wetland to the lake. We are positively disposed to discussions

with the City about how our property can best be used in the PMP. However, we are opposed to

excessive assessment of the Beach Club for the reasons noted.

We are available and willing to discuss this and other issues with you. If you have comments or
questions, please call Tom Frantz at 631-1253.

.

Thank you.

.
