POLICY FOR NO-FEE ACCESS TO PARCEL DATA FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZA nONS August 29th 2005 Ramsey County Geographic Information Systems Users Group may provide no-fee access to that portion of the current Ramsey County Parcel Datasct, contained within county boundaries to non-profit and community development organizations for individual projects with specific design and purpose subject to the following conditions. I. The party requesting the data must meet the legal requirements of a non-profit organization under Minnesota law and must have a public purpose or public benefit mission. 2. The organization must have a current data license agreement with Ramsey County which is subject to annual renewal. 3. The organization must make its request in writing and provide a description for the use of the data. 4. The Board of Directors of the organization is composed of community members whose mission and goals are aligned with local government 5. The organization serves the purpose of promoting jobs, economic development, affordable housing, environmental improvements, or community development 6. Ramsey County will evaluate each request and approve or deny the request based on a case-by-case basis. The decision whether to approve or deny any request will be within the sole discretion of the Board of Directors. 7. Data will be used only for officially approved uses related to the organization's non-profit mission and purpose. 8. Data will not be used for private purposes or financial gain. 9. Direct access will be limited to designated staff and leaders of the organization. Each organization will have data privacy and data security guidelines specific to the organization's programs and applications.
