The project consists of reconstructing the streets in the neighborhood and <br />constructing concrete curb and gutter, retaining walls, a storm sewer system, including three <br />sedimentation ponds and thirteen to sixteen rain gardens. The project also includes thc <br />replacement of the watermain and water services along Arden Place, hydrants and gate valves <br />throughout the neighborhood, and sanitary sewer forcemain along Lake Johanna Boulevard, <br />Ridgewood Road, and Arden Place. The watermain and sanitary forcemain pipes are proposed to <br />be installed using trenchless technologies. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br /> <br />The estimated total project cost for the improvements is $] ,9 18,] 68.42 including engineering <br />costs. Any expenses required for drainage easement acquisition are not included in this amount. <br />The City's portion of the project costs are currently budgeted from the General Capital Fund and <br />Utility Enterprise Funds (sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermain funds).
