<br />Discussion <br /> <br />County Road F <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting, the Commission expressed some concern that <br />removing access to Lexington Avenue from the Arden Woods office building may have a <br />negative impact on County Road F. Since a traffic study was not conducted for this <br />application to evaluate the impact of closing the Lexington Avenue access, the Planning <br />Commission recommended that an additional condition for approval be included that <br />required review and approval from Ramsey County. Condition eleven states: <br /> <br />Approval of the proposal to remove access from Lexington Avenue to the Arden <br />Woods office building shall be contingent upon review and approval of Ramsey <br />County. <br /> <br />Staff contacted Dan Soler at Ramsey County Public Works regarding the Guidant <br />proposal. A copy of Mr. Soler's letter is included as attachment 7E-1 to this report. In <br />sum, Ramsey County agrees with the proposal from Guidant to remove the Lexington <br />Avenue access. The City Engineer and the Fire Marshal are in agreement with Mr. Soler. <br />However, Mr. Soler did indicate that this modification does move up the need for <br />improving the Lexington Avenue and County Road F intersection. Mr. Soler also <br />included the following two conditions: <br /> <br />I. All landscaping for the proposed improvements shall be done off of the County right- <br />of-way. . <br />2. The removal of the Driveway on Lcxington Avenue shall require a permit from <br />Ramsey County Public Works. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that these two conditions be added to the Planning Commission's <br />recommended conditions for approval. <br /> <br />City Engineer and Fire Marshal Comments <br /> <br />Guidant has already submitted updated site plans with thc additional information and <br />changes required by the City Engineer as stated in condition nine from the Planning <br />Commission.
