These are not listed in order; no priority was set. Each <br />goal needs to be achievable. <br /> <br />TCAAP Follow established work plans to make decisions in stages. Each decision <br />builds on the next. <br /> <br />CIP Priorities A budget is not a decision making tool. CIP items need to be decided on <br />merit. <br /> <br />Road Benchmarks, especially 694/10/96 issucs including loss of access and grade <br />separation. We need to be in a position to tell other government entities "This is <br />what Arden Hills WaJ1ts". <br /> <br />Strong Regional relationships with other cities. <br /> <br />Park I trail plaffi1ing complete, including funding, aJ1d a response to the PTRC vision. <br /> <br />Committees Structure Philosophy <br />What committee has what role aJ1d what power? What is the Council's role vis-a- <br />vis each committee or commission? <br /> <br />Leadership <br />Risk Management <br />Creating leadership at the stafflevel <br />Staff salaries, benefits (as it relates to staff retention,) <br /> <br />Infrastructure revenue necds. (How are we going to pay for all this?) <br /> <br />Library presence in Arden Hills is desirable <br /> <br />Philosophy of Development and redevelopment: cost and investment vs, status quo. <br /> <br />Vision and/or Philosophy and/or Poliey on: <br />Strong neighborhoods <br />Strong busjnesses <br />Fiscal responsibility <br />Police <br />Fire <br />Communications with residents <br />
