What is the availability of clean-up resources from Ramsey County, <br />MnDOT, and other neighboring communities for assistance with the clean-up <br />efforts, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />7, If City staff believes that the storm damage warrants a City-wide clean-up effort, <br />an emergency meeting ofthe City Council will be called to address the storm <br />clean-up efforts and funding, If Council approves, a storm emergency will be <br />declared. <br /> <br />8, City Administrator and City depaI1ment heads will evaluate the City's available <br />resources (persounel, equipment, available funding) to the City and determine <br />whether or not outside vendors will be needed to assist with the repair or clean-up <br />efforts, <br /> <br />9. The City's Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer will review the City's current <br />financial assets to determine appropriate funding sources for the storm clean-up <br />efforts, <br /> <br />10, If neceSSaI)', the City Administrator or designee will solicit informal bids from <br />outside contractors for tree debris and storm removal services, After reviewing the <br />bids, the City Admimstrator will recommend to the City Council approval of the <br />bid that best reflects the needs of the City at this time, City Council will be asked <br />to take formal action on City staff s recommendation at the next City Council <br />meeting, <br /> <br />I I, Once the work has been approved by the City Council. the City Administrator or <br />designee will provide work direction to the contractor's hired by the City for storm <br />debris and tree removal efforts, The City staff will provide the City Council \vith <br />weekly project updates identifying the project costs and the current status. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />12. If a storm emergency is declared by the City, property owners may place the tree <br />debris on the boulevard to be picked up by the City, Stumps and non-tree material <br />will not be picked up, Debris placed on the boulevard that is not in accordance or <br />in the manner and timeframe set forth by the City for that storm event will become <br />the responsibility of the property owner who placed the materials along the <br />boulevard to have the tree materials removed within five days after being notified <br />of the violation by City staff <br /> <br />)3, City staff will designate a debris drop.off site within the City of Arden Hills for <br />residential use. City staff will work in conjunction with Ramsey County and other <br />neighboring cities to coordinate tree-storm debris removal and storage, <br /> <br />14. Once all emergency repairs and/or clean-up efforts are completed, the City <br />Administrator will provide the City Council with a final overview of the <br />emergency event at a future City Council meeting, <br /> <br />. <br />
