City staff contact cd tbc Cities of New Brighton, Roseville, and Mounds View to <br />explore the possibility of a joint service agrecment for cable technician support. The City of New Brighton currently has two IT/Cable <br />Technicians on their staff and would be available to assist us with our cable broadcasting needs. <br />The Cities of Roseville and Mounds View did not submit a proposal to the City for cablc <br />technician services. <br /> <br />City staff also conducted an external recruitment search for a cable technician. The City of <br />Arden Hills advcrtised the open position with the local cable commission, Leaguc of Mimlesota <br />Citics, and through a local government list serve. The City of Arden Hills received rcsumes <br />from two candidates for the cable tcchnician position. On June 20th, City staff interviewed the <br />two candidates for the open position. <br /> <br />OPTIONS FOR CITY COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />After completing the interview stage of the recruitmcnt process, City staff revicwed the proposal <br />submitted by the City of New Brighton and the qualifications of the two candidates that were <br />interviewed by City staff. The following options were revicwed and considered by City staff: <br />
