City staff is estimating that the Cablc Technician position would . <br />be paid approximately $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. If the salary for this position is $20.00 per <br />hour (approximately 3 hours per week), the City of Arden Hills would pay this individual <br />approximately $240.00 per month for tbis position. Roughly, a $10.00 per month difference <br />between the proposal submittcd by the City of New Brighton and tbe cost of hiring a technician. <br />Also, Arden Hills would not be responsible for future recruitment efforts, salary, training, and <br />finding a substitute cable technician if the need ever arises. <br /> <br />The New Brighton City Council recently approved the proposed joint service agreement at their <br />July 25th meeting. <br /> <br />Option B-Hire one of the two candidatcs for tbe Cable Tcchnician Position <br /> <br />City Staff Recommendation- <br /> <br />City staff is recommending City Council approval of Option A. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
