Mr. Lehnhoff <br />responded there was onecommunity'V!~~til1g held on July 26th, 2006, at City Hall. <br /> <br />C'.hair Sand opened the publich~~ring at 8:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Sand invited anyone for or against the request to come forward and make <br />comment. <br /> <br />Jim Bharma, 4540 Keithson Drive, stated the project backed up into his back yard. He <br />staled he had lived in his home sincc 1990 and when he bought his house this land was <br />owned by the City. He stated he would now have buildings facing his back yard and <br />asked how his property value would be affected. He indicated he was paying property <br />taxes on a value of $460,000 and he believed his property values would go down. He <br />noted there was also an access onto Highway 96 from Keithson. He stated they had to <br />wait a long time to take a left. He stated there was a bad traffic problem in his area. He <br />noted with the addition of 250 parking spots, this would be "a travesty." He expressed <br />concern that the building was too close to his property and with the building being two <br />stories, in the winter his privacy would be gone because they would be looking into his <br />backyard.
