<br />The meeting was cal led to order by Mayor Crepeau at 8:01 p.m.

<br />Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Stan Olmen, John
<br />Hollenhorst, E. Gray Henderson and Ronald Her~lck.
<br />Absent - None.
<br />Also Present - County Engineer Floyd Snyker, Clerk Administrator
<br />LorraIne Stromquist, Attorney Vincent P. Courtney,
<br />Treasurer Worth G. Read, Engineers Donald Lund and Donald
<br />Christoffersen, Building Inspector (Code Enforcement
<br />Officer) Lawrence Squires and Assistant Clerk Dorothy Zehm.

<br />Approval of Minutes
<br />The Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of March 8, 1971 were
<br />approved as submitted.
<br />
<br />Ramsey County Hlqhway Improvement Plans
<br />Engineer Floyd Snyker, Ramsey County Highway Department, discussed
<br />the County Roarl E and Snelling Avenue Improvement Plans with the
<br />Council, verifying that the fence around the playground area Is
<br />Included in the construction plans, as well as adequate turn lanes
<br />at County Road E and Snelling Avenue and at County Road E and
<br />Highway 51.

<br />J. Hollenhorst moved, seconded by R. Herrick, that~~-~olutjon
<br />approving the combined County Road E and Snell ing Avenue Improvement
<br />plans be adopted, as attached. Motion carried. (Crepeau, HOllen-
<br />horst, Olmen and Herrick voting in favor and Henderson voting In
<br />opposition.)

<br />Eng nee~ Floyd ~nyker was aavised by the Council of the Soo Line
<br />Railroad Company's request to extend a spur track across Red Fo~
<br />Road. Engineer Snyker advised the Council that the County will
<br />work with th~ Village; the County is interested In protecting Red
<br />Fox Road. He said thai' the request should be submitted to the
<br />Public Service Commission ~or a heaririD when all ~nformatron has
<br />been compiled and an agreement has bean reached between Arden Hills
<br />and the Soo Line Railroad.

<br />500 Line-Arden Hills Agreement
<br />Attorney Courtney presented an amended dr~ft of the Soo Line-Arden
<br />Hills Agreement for Councl I consideration.
<br />
<br />After discussion, J. Hollenhorst moved that the Council approve the
<br />agreement as presented and a'ftached; sec.?,llded by R. Herrick; motion
