Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Stanley Olmen, <br />John Hollenhorst, E. Gray Henderson and Ronald Herrick. <br />Absent - None. Courtney, 'Engineer Donald Lund,Malntenance' <br />Supervisor Everett Beecher and Assistant Clerk Dorothy <br />Zehm. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Council meeting of Monday, December 28, <br />1971, were approved as amended. <br /> <br />Vlllelle Hall and Halntenance BulldlnCl Addit-1o~s <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Horty, Horty-Elvlng and Associates, requested that the <br />Council establish a bld-openi~g date and requested Information <br />to be Inserted in the confract documents. <br /> <br />After discussion, it wes moved by Councilman Henderson that the <br />Council authorize Mr. Horty to prepare the contract for bidding <br />purposes; contract to Include the requirement of a single contract, <br />a 10% alternate bid bond or certified check, liquidated damages <br />clause In the amount of $100.00 per day If construction Is not <br />completed within six (6) months from the'date the contract I~ <br />awarded; authorizing bids to be opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, <br />February 4, 1971, at the Village Hal I by Architect Tom Horty and <br />Clerk Administrator Lorraine StromQuist; bids to be ~onsldered by ~ <br />the Council at the Council meetIng on Monday, February 6, 1971. <br />The mot I on was seconded by Counc i I man 0 I men and carr! ed unan Imous I y. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VillAGE ATTORNEY VINCENTP. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Stromquist was requested to provide copies of <br />Attorney Courtney's letter, dated January II, 191" for all councIl- <br />men and the Planning Comm<i<sslon; requesting thet the Planning <br />Commission, Planner Richard Shetler and Clerk Administrator work <br />cooperatively In determining the Information requested in the letter. <br /> <br />J <br />
