• 4
has been modified I believe in three separate minor modifications.
This was based upon comments by the people at the hearing last
May, comments that were gainmd later as well as suggestions from
the Village CounciL One of these changes was to construct the
sewer following f urther along the lake just west of Siems Court
so that there were three homes there which originaily had been
proposed to have only first floor drainage which now receive base-
ment drainage. Another change to take it off fzom Ridgewood Court
arid move it instead to Siems Court from Johanna Boulevard Southerly
almost to Fsden Place. 'fhe reason for that was the manner in which
the housas gained service to the sewer made it appear that that
would be the most practical location. Ansother change tivaa a change
of location off Skiles Avenue to the rear of tha houses there for a
• portion of the area since it appears that the same service may be
provided with a slightly different sewer and accomplish a little
better service to the property. Another and the last change was
made along the east shore of Lake Johanna where there were three
homes located here, two of which were not going to receive service
with the originally planned service along Snelling F,venue and further
studies and investigation indicates that it is possible that this
property can receive service rather than as originally proposed
in lday of 1959. In this area wst of Snelling Avenue there are
ttvo lift stations located, one in the low marshy ground in this
horseshoe shaped area which lies east of Ridgewood Road and north
cf Arden Place. The second one would lie on the south side of Johanna
31vd. and west of Siems Court and the sewers in this area would flaa
• to that lift station kith discharge to the east and south.
