� � � 3 • The sewer system, as proposed� wou�d connect to the Village of Roseville sewer sys:em at approxima�ely the intersection of Glen Hill Road or County Road D and Hamline Avenue. The outlet f or the sewage from this arQa was constructad in 1959 by the Village of Roseville and the authority for the enlaxgement of that sewer was authorized by the village council following the h�aring fox Improvement N. 1 and this outlet was created and is now existing up to this point. The outlet for completed Improvement No. 1 is r�ade at the intersection of Snelling and Glen Itill Road which eventually reaches the same point for continuation on into the City of Saint Paul. The system here is proposed all drains eventually either by gravity or through lift stations from one large lift station at the intersection of Ingerson Road and Hamline � Avenue and is lifted through a 10 inch force main and pumped southerly to the point of connettion with the Roseville system. The reason ior that is that the area in Arden Hills lies somewhat lower than th� area to the south in Aoseville making it necessary that it be lifted to discharge. Everything connQcted from this area must be lifted. There are no gravity connections in the Roseville sewer system. The same condition was true in this area that everything had to be lifted with the exception of the last house on Glen Hill Road adjacent to Hamline /.venue. In this program - the houses aren't shown in detail on this map as they were on the maps which were fastened,up to the wall here and which you had an opportuntty to look at eariier this evening.
