25

without looking at the profiles, and I don't remember exactly -
is that it isn't too bad there becase the sewer on Forest Lane
for instance would run fzom Snelling down to Glen Arden Road which is
by and large down hill most of the way although there are somehumps
in it. Gn Skiles Lane, and I take it you're speaking of between
Hamline and Snelling, the sewer meets in the middle thera between
Glen Arden Court and Glen Arden Road and flows both firections from
that high point.
NR. 8U5'TON: You say an average of about 12 feet?
NR. SHORT: The average depth would be pro bably a littl•

less than 12 feet. I don't have the pzofiles hese to examine for
each foot on each of these streets but I don't recall off hand any
snecific difficult points in those places. I think there is one
low house that would probably gain service off Glen Arden F.oad
which would be deep.
MA. BUE?OW: Are you going to have some tremendously deep
cuts like on the west sfde of blidland Hills?
IuF. SHORT: No. That tias wer 3G feet and there aren't any
like that in this improvement.
NR. AL OLEN, 3270 No. Hamiine: I have looked at th• sewer

project with rather mixed emotions but if I have to make a stand I
might as well say I'm opposed to it I guess probably because it
touches my pocket book. I would like to ask this question and maybe
Mr. Popovich maybe in his last sentence before he aat down may have
answered it but I think this meeting of this type gives everyone an
opportunity to say whether they're for it or oFposed to it and yet
there are a limited number of people who will stand up and say they
are or are not against it and I'm wondering why we're apendin9 this
